Project 1 is a Lake Orion, Michigan–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings volunteers and donors together to meet real needs — one person, one family, and one cause at a time.
Who we are
Project 1 is a community-focused nonprofit founded on a simple belief in the power of one. Hardship does not always fit neatly into a category: sometimes a person needs practical support, sometimes a family needs help getting through a difficult season, sometimes a local cause needs people to step forward. Project 1 exists to help bring the community together around those moments.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we are committed to compassion, dignity, responsible stewardship, and action. Our model is simple — identify a need, mobilize support, and help where we can.
